Using sterilizing gas
ampoules is a very simple method that
can be performed anywhere, specially
under emergency conditions. No electric
power, natural gas, etc. connections are
necessary. This method allows
sterilizing any sort of materials,
including those ones that cannot be
exposed to steam environment in either
autoclave or heat.
Mainly, this gas penetrates into and
spreads through different materials thus
achieving proper sterilization.
Utilization under Pressure and Room
Temperature Conditions.
AXIS Sterilization Kit contains all
necessary elements intended to proper
sterilization. It includes the following
items: sterilizing gas-containing
ampoule with eo spot indicator, (active
ingredient: ethylene oxide and inert
gases) that is contained in a diffusing
membrane container, a humidichip, a
containment bag for placing the material
to be sterilized and a bag-closure seal.
