Product Description

The AXIS AXDL-100 is a compact, reliable Dual Incubator designed for the controlled incubation of self-contained biological indicators used in sterilization monitoring. It supports dual temperature operation at 37°C and 60°C, making it suitable for a wide range of sterilization methods including Steam, Hydrogen Peroxide, Ethylene Oxide (EO), and Formaldehyde. The AXDL-100 maintains precise temperature control in each chamber to ensure optimal conditions for microbial growth, providing dependable sterility assurance results.

The incubator features 46 positions in total — 39 wells for Biological Indicators, 1 built-in ampoule crusher for automated BI activation, and 7 wells for Protein Pens. A dedicated port for an external thermometer is also included. The high-visibility 128×64 OLED screen provides real-time monitoring of temperature settings, system status, and error codes, ensuring clear and immediate feedback during operation.

For Steam and Plasma sterilization, the incubator maintains a stable temperature of 60 ± 2°C to promote the growth of heat-resistant spores. For Ethylene Oxide (EO) sterilization, the temperature is set to 37 ± 2°C to encourage the growth of EO-resistant spores. Steam and H₂O₂ indicators can be incubated simultaneously at 60°C without any need for temperature adjustment, ensuring an efficient and uninterrupted workflow.

The AXDL-100 is fully compatible with Axis AX10 EO Biological Indicator (48-hour incubation), AX20 Steam Biological Indicator (24-hour incubation), AX91 Plasma Biological Indicator (24-hour incubation), and AX100. With a diameter of only 12.5 cm and a weight of 0.8 kg, it is ideal for tabletop use in dental clinics, hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, and laboratories. The AXDL-100 is compliant with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, EN 60601-1, EN 60601-1-2, and EN IEC 61326 standards.
